we were able to catch dar williams on sunday at the pabst in milwaukee, despite the crazy ice drive home, and route sixty-five littered with accidents. for the first time in awhile, i didn't get my request played (it happens every day), but i did get to hear after all and spring street, so it's all good.

i was an mtv child, spending hours in front of the tv trying to understand what the hell was going on in music and getting physically sick of all the rambo: first blood commercials (and the fixx videos). i spent a lot of time at my grandparents house because: 1. they had cable and 2. my mom waitressed a lot when she wasn't working in the cigar factory.
