I MISSED THE PRESENTATION BUT WHEN YOU SHOWED YOUR NEW THESIS YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CLEARLY FOCUSEING ON ONE TOPIC THAT WILL BE EXPRESSED CLEARLY. BUT THAT IS OKAY TO TRANSFORM INTO A GOOD PAPER!

 you seams to be getting ready. that is good. and the political topic you chose is very interesting. you will have a lot to say because the same case can be found in this days too. am not a good fun of politcs and i wouldn't choose the topic but i know you will do it with more detailes as needed, just try harder.  

      V for Vendetta, what a great movie.  Haven't read 1984 so I can't comment about that.  Anyways, government supression and how the people respond and fight back is a pretty good topic but apparently not specific enough for Alice.  How about talking about the tactics that the governments use to oppress people.  In V for Vendetta, the government had a video system that branched to every television in the nation.  You could also talk about how those tactics affect people, both mentally and physically, some possible sources maybe.  It's just an idea, but have at it if you want to and run, run like the wind until the end of the semester.

hey casey that was an interesting thesis but your three key points were not easily found.  I am glad you are doing V for Vendetta because that was one of my choices but i decided not to do it. I think it will be an interesting project and i know you will do well. Hope you the best!

I think you have chosen two very good stories.  They are both interesting and I think they go well together. You might want to mention in "V for Vandetta" that the civilians aren't really fighting back. They sort of let dictation happen, right? V is more the one that is fighting back.

   I liked the powerpoint! I think you'll do fine when you really begin to work on it. And obviously youre thesis needs to be longer... :) Good job!

you should really read 1984  It's a great book.  :)  but besides that good work.  I think that you should do something about the way the treat the people in 1984 differently from different classes of life.  Apply that to the oppression in V for Vendetta.  Proles=free because they are uneducated

Outer circle=working class.  They are watched very closely.  The governtment monitors their speech, actions and even thoughts through the television. (thought crime)

Inner Circle= Upper class.  People have control over their t.v.  They can turn it off for certain amounts of time.  They are not watched quite as much, however they are still watched. 

The government even stages missile attacks on the area of the cities where Proles are to stay in order to keep them in fear. 

Government also continuously switching who they are fighting in the war in order to keep citizens confused because there really is no war.  

If i didn't ruin the book for you, then i don't know what could.

even though you had only four slides it was really good. It was nice to see a little comic relif have to say I saw it coming.

Hey Kasey.  i enjoyed your presentation.  actually, i always enjoy your presentations.  you make us laugh with your witty comments.  that keeps our attention.  now to you actual presentation.  i know that your thesis was incomplete however, i feel that you know what you have to do to get it done.  i am sure that you will have it complete by next friday.  I really don't want us to let Alice down.  i don't think that i have ever seen her this pissed at us.  however, keep up the good work and prove us right, THAT YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!

Good job on the presentation. the slides were pretty funny in a short simple matter and it allowed me to understand it without really needing alot of information. Overall nice presentation.

nice slides! very humorous! i like the bush thing at the end instead of that other guy that was like big brother. your thesis was good... i wish you would've explained the finer points about what exactly your paper would be comparing though. overall good job and explain about the government in more detail about it. good job!

I really liked your presentation. I think you conveyed your basic ideas clearly and have a good foundation for your central thesis. I think you are the right path for a good research paper.... Your sources were good and creditable in my opinion.

KC good Job - Need to be More Speicific. Can't offer many suggestions except for what Alice said , talk more about what the Government in particular is doing and how they are opressing / sheltering their people.
