ATTENDANCE POLICY

You are expected to be in class unless you have a valid excuse (e.g., your dog ate the neighbor’s cat and your dog’s got a sensitive stomach disorder and you’ve got a huge mess to clean up).  Attendance is vital because of our constant shifting between the classroom and the computer lab. Your attendance is also vital to your class participation grade, which will drop with each successive absence:

                              3 misses = a full letter-grade drop

                              4 misses = another letter-grade drop

                              5 misses = yet another letter-grade drop

                              6 misses = don’t bother coming back

Your classmates are depending not only on your smiling puss, but also your analyzing, editing, and the occasional Nick Lachey joke. If you cannot attend class due to illness or an emergency, please email me a.s.a.p.
